Let's imagine south- east of Europe 1800 years ago. I know, it is a little difficult so here you have a map :
As you can all see, there is a marked place on the map. Well, that is the little town where i was born. Eventhough today it is a small, not very 'modern' town, Drobeta Turnu Severin carries on a history of almost 2000 years. And what is really cool, is that nowadays we can still find traces of the evolution of the town starting with year 103, when it became a Roman colony.Further on i will put some pictures with the most representative sites of Severin:*First of all, this is the symbol of my town, one part of the bridge built in the year 103 by the Roman emperor Traian*Here are the ruins of the Roman fortress 'Drubeta'*The Danube separating Severin from the Serbian village Negotin
