And by the way, I win photo competition and even get some money from that. Every year our Defense ministry is doing a photo competition. All the photos should be connected with army or something like that. So – with my photo I get the third place in “non-professional” group. And this photo is now in a gallery and also printed.
Here I also put some photos from our Millennium song and dance celebration. It’s amazing – about 3000 people dancing and singing at once. And all the week like this. These celebrations are held every 4 years and they are included in the UNESCO world heritage, because just Baltic countries have this kind of thing (such a massive one).
And at the resent time I’m planning my BIG trip to Siberia, Buriatia region (that’s Russia, if something). I will lead there youngsters group to see the places where Lithuanians were exiled by the Soviet governors. This place is almost near China and Mongolia, so it should be very interesting. And also, people living there are already with narrow eyes and they pray to Buda. Hope I will survive, because we will be traveling with local trains, busses (and believe me – they are worse then in Bulgaria), sleeping in tents all the time. Promise to put some photos there after this trip. And yea, one more thing - before this we were all (66 people) were going to a "survive" trip to chech which people can do this. So finally we were walking 42 kilometres in two days, crossing rivers with no bridges or with line bridges, going through rain and heat... It was really amazing... :)
Well, I think that’s all. Waiting for Magda visiting me in September. Waiting to hear some news from you. Dreaming about coming back to Bulgaria (can you imagine us all together there again?). And also, happy birthday Clemance (it’s today)… :)
Kisses, Laura
P.S.: thanks for the letters and messages I received form some of you during the recent time and sorry for not answering. I’m kind of busy at the moment, but still I miss you and I’m thinking about you A LOT! :)
